Most participating units’ electricity cost increased in April of 2018. The top 10 participating units are “Faculty of Health Science” (E12), “University Gallery and Wu Yee Sun Library” (E1 & E2), “Cheong Kun Lun College” (W34), “Faculty of Business Administration” (E22), “Humanities and Social Sciences Building” (E21), “Moon Chun Memorial College” (W11), “Student Activity Centre, Faculty of Law & Faculty of Education” (E31, E32 & E33), “UM Sports Complex” (N8), “Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College” (W33), and “Lui Che Woo College” (W22). Their electricity costs drop by -0.47% to 16.93%.
The Faculty Big Saver in April is “Faculty of Health Science” (E12). The electricity cost saving is MOP 26,480.
As for the award “Best Implementer of Energy-Saving Measures”, “University Gallery and Wu Yee Sun Library” (E1 & E2), “Student Activity Centre, Faculty of Law & Faculty of Education” (E31, E32 & E33), and “Faculty of Business Administration” (E22) implemented 11, 10 and 9 energy saving measures, respectively, in April. The measures included switching off of unused lightings, computer before getting off work, setting air conditioning temperature to 25 degree, keeping doors and windows closed when air conditioners are running, switching off of unused lamps during recess period, etc.
The most energy efficient residential college in April is “Cheong Kun Lun College” (W34). The electricity cost saving is 10.81%.

Remark: As W34 is the new operation building in June 2017, average electricity cost in April of 2017 of other residential colleges are used for comparison.
