Dear Colleagues,

According to the attached announcement from the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) (Attachment 1), all staff members should observe the following:

  1. During the summer period from 2 August 2021 to 15 September 2021, staff members are advised to stay in Macao to the extent possible and avoid traveling or visiting relatives in provinces and cities outside Guangdong Province or abroad. If there is any absence caused by undergoing medical observation in Macao or outside Macao due to any changes of the epidemic situation during the said period, it will not be regarded as an unforeseeable circumstance and therefore, it may not be accepted as a justifiable absence;
  2. For staff members with "yellow" health code, they must comply with the epidemic prevention measures as required by the health authorities, such as taking nucleic acid test on time and exercising "self-health management", etc. They should also fill out the on-line “Health Declaration" of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) on every working day until the health code is changed to "green".

In addition, staff members can refer to the following guidelines released by SAFP and the Health Bureau respectively:
  1. “Guidelines on the Anti-Epidemic Measures for Government Departments” (Attachment 2)
  2. “Advice on the Management of Individuals with Macao Health Code in Red or Yellow Colour” (Attachment 3)

Thank you for your attention!
