Dear Colleagues,
According to the announcement of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) (Attachment 1), in order to reduce the risk of infection and spread of COVID-19, starting from 27 September 2021, upon entering the workplace, all staff members must present a proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a proof of nucleic acid test with a negative result within 7 days.
The nucleic acid test should be performed during non-office hours. Staff members who are not suitable to receive the vaccine due to their health conditions should present a medical certificate for this purpose and can be exempted from the nucleic acid test fees. Please refer to Attachment 2 for details.
In this regard, starting from 27 September 2021, each unit should appoint a coordinator to check the vaccination proof or nucleic acid test with a negative result of the colleagues in the respective unit. Staff members who are absent from work for failing to present the above-mentioned proofs, will be deemed as being on unjustifiable leave, and details of these staff members should be reported by filling out the file (Attachment 3) to the Human Resources Section via email: hrs_comp_benefits_grp@um.edu.mo.
