According to the Guidelines announced by the SAFP (Attachment 1), the following measures will be adopted from 14 December 2022:
1. "Macao Health Code" should be presented when entering the University
· Staff Members with "Red Health Code" are prohibited from entering the University, except for those who have to perform essential or urgent tasks.
2. Infected staff members submitting proof of absence
· Infected staff members can download and submit the "COVID-19 Infection Certificate" as a proof of absence after assessing their health status through the "Self-Assessment and Community Outpatient Clinic Appointment Platform" run by the Health Bureau.
· Staff members accompanying their infected family members (only applicable to first grade lineal relatives by blood or by marriage who are aged under 14 or over 65) can submit the "COVID-19 Infection Certificate" of the family members concerned as a proof of absence (Note: Only one staff member can be granted justified absence for accompanying an infected family member).
· Staff members can apply such leave through eLeave system (choose the reason "Others (Due to infection of COVID-19)") and attach the "COVID-19 Infection Certificate" for approval.
