Dear colleagues and students,
A confirmed case of COVID-19 was found in Tanzhou Town, Zhongshan City of Guangdong Province on 27 February. As the patient has been staying in areas near Barrier Gate Plaza during 22 to 27 February, Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced that persons living or working in those areas should have a mandatory nucleic acid test from 17:00 of 28 February to 12:00 of 1 March 2022 in order to assess the transmission risk in the local community.

If those persons in the designated areas do not undergo the nucleic acid test by the deadline, the Macao Health Code will be turned yellow on 00:00 of 2 March. It will only be turned to green until the persons complete the tests and the results are released.
