| How to use external Web browser rather than embedded web browser in Lotus Notes Client? |  |
Sometime, staff members with Lotus Notes account may receive emails with a web link, such as "http:\\www.umac.mo". When user clicks on the web link, Lotus Notes Client will launches the default Internet browser to load the web page. You may set the option to select your default Internet browser such as "Microsoft Internet Explorer" or "Firefox".
Here are the steps to setup your default Internet browser
1. In Lotus Notes Client, from the right-bottom corner, click your "UserID", and then select "Edit Current".
2. From the Location setting, select "Internet Browser" tab, then click the pull-down menu of "Internet browser", and select "Microsoft Internet Explorer" as your default browser, you may also select "Firefox" as your default browser (if your computer is installed with Firefox).
3. Click "Save & Close" to complete the setup job. |
