All archived emails stored in your old archive database in UM_Gateway server will be converted as "Shortcut" emails. Those "Shortcut" emails will be imported to your current mailbox and also put to a new specified folder named as "[Enterprise Vault 2011]".
The original folder structure in your archived database will be maintained under the specified folder "[Enterprise Vault 2011]" except the empty folders. For the "Views" in your archived database, you can also find it under "[Enterprise Vault 2011]" but it will be displayed as "Folder" icon instead of a "View" icon. The contents under this kind of views will remain unchanged*.
* For example, the "All Documents" folder under the "[Enterprise Vault 2011]" folder will show all emails under the "[Enterprise Vault 2011]" folder only. |
