After the "Enterprise Vault" archive operation successfully completes, original emails will be moved to the archive server and replaced by a "Shortcut" email. The "Shortcut" email retains the content of original email with plan-text format. All graphic and table format will be removed and the attachment icon will be shown as "text-link".
In both Lotus Notes Client and WebMail, the preview pane will show the content of the Shortcut that displays as plain-text, and you can open the original email with all contents and format by simply double clicking the shortcut email. |
