In the previous archiving method, you need to select those emails and perform archive operation. During the archive operation, your Lotus Notes Client often frozen and you couldn't do anything with Lotus Notes Client until the whole operation completes.
For the new archiving method "Enterprise Vault", the system will perform the archive operation based on a predefined schedule as required by the system administrator. Usually, the operation will be performed during the off-peak period so as to reduce the impact to our users. |
