Yes, you can access your archived email through a web browser.
Lotus Notes R8.5 and Symantec Enterprise Vault (EV) fully support Internet Explorer web browser. It also partially supports some of other web browsers e.g. Safari and Firefox. In order to enjoy full function, ICTO recommends to use Internet Explorer to access your email. If you are using other web browsers, you can still enjoy most of functions. However, there will be some differences in appearances and some limitations in different browsers.
Example 1: For IE, there are 3 different attachment views but FireFox provides only one attachment view.

Example 2: You can click the email shortcut to launch the whole archived email with rich text format using Internet Explorer. Yet, some web browsers only open the shortcut of the email with plain text format. It is due to the limitation of non-IE based web browsers. |
